LOIRE VALLEY CASTLES FROM PARIS

The first stop you will make will be in Chambord. As soon as you approach the castle, the majesty of the building that rises before you will leave you speechless. Its impressive architecture makes it the largest of the Loire castles. Next, you will quickly access the interior thanks to priority access. Our guide will lead us through some of the castle's rooms and you will take the famous "double revolution staircase" to reach the large panoramic terrace. You will enjoy a magnificent view of the park while listening to the guide's commentary on the history of the castle, built during the reign of Francis I with the participation of Leonardo da Vinci in the 16th century.

Next, you will discover Chenonceau. The guide will introduce you to this sumptuous royal residence, nicknamed the "Ladies' Castle" because it was maintained and enriched by several female characters over the years. The external environment, with the building that seems to emerge from the water, gives the castle a fairy tale dimension. You'll enjoy a one-hour guided tour of Chenonceau Castle during which you'll admire the ornately furnished rooms, tapestries and period paintings. The guide will tell you many stories and anecdotes about the castle and the importance of the female presence that attests to the French art of living.

After this visit to Chenonceau, you will have free time to stroll through the remarkable gardens along the Cher and have lunch around the castle. At the agreed time you will meet the guide to leave for Cheverny.

In this stately residence occupied by the same family for more than 600 years, you will discover the castle and its notable interior equipment. Outside, you can complete your visit with the park and its 6 themed gardens, including the orchard "le Jardin Sucré".

The bus will leave around 5:00 p.m. for an expected arrival in Paris around 8:00 p.m.
