Accommodation
Excursion Itinerary: Quintessential edinburgh

At the indicateed time, we will meet our guide and begin the walking tour of the city of Edinburgh.

Situated in the east of Scotland and washed by the North Sea, Edinburgh is one of the most visited cities in the United Kingdom.

The Scottish capital has two souls. On one hand, we will find the medieval city, which extends around the Royal Mile, its main street. Edinburgh Castle is connected to the Palace of Holyrood by it. This palace is the official residence of the British royal family in Scotland.

On the other hand, we will observe the new city, separated from the old part of Edinburgh by the Princes Street Gardens. It was built in the late 18th century to address the problem of overpopulation. It emerged as a residential neighborhood, with stately buildings and grand avenues, where the wealthier citizens moved.

During our tour, we will walk along the Royal Mile until we reach the castle. This way, we can understand why Edinburgh has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a City of Literature. At the same time, we will discover the peculiarities of Edinburgh and Scotland.

Greca Tip: Located south of the George IV Bridge, you can find the statue of the city's most famous dog, Bobby. Legend has it that if you touch his nose, you will return to Edinburgh.
